Removing Teflon non-stick coating from pots and pans by laser stripping machine

We recently received a sample from a customer who is in the restaurant industry and his cooking pans seemed to look bad. The customer needed to remove the Teflon coating from the surface of the cooking pans and re-coat them. 

They ask to remove the Teflon non-stick coating but not to hurt the metal substrate and to have a certain efficiency.

We use pulsed type laser stipping&cleaning machine for this cleaning operation.

At first we used a 200 watt machine with a single pulse energy of 10 mJ.

the surface of the Teflon coating was only slightly discolored, without the feeling of being removed, and the test failed.

Then we tried to use a 300-watt machine with a maximum single pulse energy of 15 mJ.

After the laser irradiation, the coating had obvious stripping phenomenon, and we repeated the process 5 times before it was completely cleaned

Finally we used a 500 watt laser cleaning machine, the coating was easily stripped, please check the following picture.
